Education Loan: Facts About Student Loan In Nigeria

Barely after Nigerian government effort to curve the hardship of Nigerian students face in funding education, the federal government of Nigeria has introduced student loan for students studying in Nigeria. The student loan bill was first proposed by the former speaker of the house of representative Femi Gbajabiamila, passed on May 2023 and signed into law by the new president Bola Ahmad Tinubu in June 2023. Thus, the loan will be Interest free to only student of tertiary institutions studying in  Nigeria to fund their education and repay after national service. June 12, the most significant day in the history of Nigerian democracy. Subsidy: Tinubu Orders Shettima, governors to Review Salaries and Palliatives

Barely after a week from removing petroleum subsidy in Nigeria, the president Bola Ahmad Tinubu has ordered the National Economic Council (NEC) to review minimum wage and come up with moderlities on palliatives to reduce the hardship cause by the removal of petroleum subsidy on the populace. However, the president spoke this after the meeting with Nigerian governors forum led by the chairman governor of Kwara state Abdurrahman Abdurrazak yesterday Wednesday in Abuja. Sport: Sweden to host first sex competition today

Barely four days after the announcement on 4th June, 2023, Sweden officially declared sex as a sport competition in the country and to host a maiden sex tournament on 8th June, 2023 according Sweden local news media. The nature of the maiden tournament will engage in daily sexual activities for at least sex hours for the contestants. Thus, panel of judges were formed to select the winners of the competition and opinions of the audiences and analysis will be considered in declaring the winner. Embargo: Bauchi State Govt Lifts Employment Embargo in the State

According to report from Nigerian Tribune, after a week of announcing lifting embargo on civil service employment, governor Bala Muhammad of Bauchi state has ordered lifting the employment embargo and granted the approval to recruit 1,684 new workers into different MDAs in the state. The state head of service Alh. Yahuza Adamu Haruna made this known while addressing the newsmen in the state. He added that, the recruitment composed 1000 teachers in the subjects of English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, chemistry and information communication technology (ICT).
