Psychology: Conflict As A Cause of Stress by Kurt Lewin (1953) and how it affects teaching and learning

This is a conflict between you and yourself. Lewin (1953), while explaining causes of stress, proposed the followings approaches: 1. Approach - Approach : this is a situation in which two different things that you like have same quality and you are ask to make a choice between them. Another example is, you are presented with two different girls of the same age, beauty, education and all from rich background, you are ask to make a choice between as soon as possible. Your brain will start thinking which one will you choose, this thinking of making a choice is the conflict Lewin was talking about.  2. Avoidance - Avoidance : this is a situation in which two different things that you dislike of the same dislike qualities and you are ask to make choice between them instantly. Another example is, you are presented with two different girls of same dislike qualities, you are ask to make choice between them instantly. This will make your brain thinking of what to choose.  3. Foundation for the management of sickle cell based in Lagos summaries the followings guidelines for self management of the disorder: 1. Face your future or your affected child's future with optimism. Do not despair or self deprecate. With modern treatment, the life spans and quality of lives of people with sickle cell disorder constantly improving.  2. Join a sickle cell club or association close to you. You will the obtain more information about the condition, meet other affected people and learn about where to obtain expert counseling, proper treatment and other useful services for yourself and or your affected children.  3. Psychology: Importance of Educational Psychology To Classroom Teacher

Psychology of education occupies major parts in the preparation of teaching which help teachers and learners to understand the behaviour of the learners and how they relate with learners.  Educational psychology is important to the teachers and learners in the followings : 1. Banditary: Bandits kidnapped Tenths in Katsina

According police source in Katsina state of Nigeria, they were investigating a report which said tenths of people were kidnapped by the bandits in a village called "Ruwan Godiya" in katsina state.  Reports from different t sources said, bandits entered the village, kidnapped women and children more 40, later released part of them. Katsina state was among the states in Nigeria that were seriously affected by banditry in the country.  However, resident of the village told reporters that, they arrived the village at 9:00pm with about 30 motorbikes even though there was a military base in the area.  Moreover, more than thirty people were withheld, in one household alone took thirteen people including his wives.
