Harkokin Kudi: Babban Bankin Najeriya (CBN) Ya Kaddamar Da Sabon Katin "ATM" Na Baidaya "AfriGo"

Babban bankin Najeriya wato Central Bank Nigeria (CBN) ya kaddamar da shirin samar da katin biyan kudi na Najeriya (ATM) "Automated Teller Machine" da mutane zasu fara amfani dashi mai suna "AfriGo".

Gwamnan babban bankin Najeriya Godwin Emefiele yayi wannan jawabin wajen taron masu ruwa da tsaki na harkokin bankuna a Najeriya da ake kira "Banker's Committee" cikin watan Oktoban da ya wuce na 2022.

Gwamnan ya kara da cewa, shirin zai habbaka tattalin arzikin Najeriya, sannan kuma zai samar da alama ta kima da daraja ga Najeriya.

Wannan shiri zai baiwa Najeriya yancin mallakar bayanan kudi na kashin kanta.

A baya yan' Najeriya na amfani da katikan da kamfanonin kasashen waje suka mallaka irinsu "Verve", "MasterCard" da "Visa".

Wannan sabon tsarin biyan kudin baidaya hadin gwiwa ne da babban bankin Najeriya Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) da Nigeria Inter Bank Settlement System (NIBSS). Shirin zai mamaye kasuwancin Najeriya dake habaka yanzu.

Kuma, wannan shiri zai rage kashe kudi wajen harkokin kudi da daidaita kasuwancin masayar kudaden waje a Najeriya.

Bugu da kari, wannan shiri shine na farko a nahiyar Africa, amma ya dade a kasashe masu karfin tattalin arziki irinsu China, Brazil, India da Turkey.

Daga karshe, CBN tace AfriGo Pay Financial Services Limited (AFSL) hadin gwiwa da Nigeria Inter Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) keda hakkin kula da raba wannan katin biyan kudin baidaya.
