Banking: Bank of England Warns "Long Recession"

The bank of England has raised interest rates by .5% which is the sharpest increment in 27 years to 1.75% in a sixth successive hike and predict will enter five successive quarters of recession.

The recent highest inflation in the country hit 9.4% in the year to June and expected to continue rising.
