Monkeypox Virus Outbreak 2022: US World Leading Cases In Monkeypox Infections

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported about more than 1000 new cases of monkeypox virus for over one day, daily infection smashing counts this lead the US at the center of the new outbreak.

About 1,048 confirmed cases by CDC on Wednesday brought a total case count to 4639 nationwide. More than 75 countries spotted 18,000 infections with Spain now holding the number two spot in the case with 3,738.

Moreover, the major spike cases, the US infections rate remain below other countries experiencing outbreaks, for about one case per 100,000, Spain reported seven per 100,000 while Britain and Germany have placed the number at three 100,000.
